How it works

Three steps, start to finish.

  1. Make the responsibility specificOne task per thing to do, with a due date if it has one and the spot it involves. "Return beach towels" points at Garage · Upper right shelf.
  2. Invite the adult to the householdInvitations go to an email address and are part of Pro. They sign in with that email and see the household, not your personal inbox.
  3. Assign, then let them find itAssign the tasks to them. They get a push or email within a few minutes, and the spot on each task names the shelf.

One limit. An invited adult sees the whole household: calendar, lists, tasks, and spots. There is no partial or time-limited access. When the arrangement ends, remove them from the household.

What it does.

  • Tasks with a Where. The shelf is on the task, so the person knows where to look.
  • The same view you have. No separate sitter screen. They see what the household sees.
  • No sensitive details. Keep access codes, passwords, and medical details out of DrawerPilot, as the terms ask.

Common questions.

Who can view the handoff?

Any adult you invite to the household. Invitations are part of Pro and go to an email address.

Can I limit which details are shared?

No. Membership is all or nothing: an invited adult sees the household’s calendar, lists, tasks, and spots.

Does access expire automatically?

No. Remove the person from the household when the arrangement ends.

Can children sign in?

No. Children can be named for chores without an account. Accounts are for adults.
