Email to family plan

Turn a pasted email into events, tasks, and a shopping list.

Paste the coach’s email, the class newsletter, or the carpool text. DrawerPilot proposes the dates, the to-dos, and the things to buy, and you keep what the household needs.

Free to start. Paste one message.

Water bottle and ball are things to bring, not purchases.

Example with fictional data. Nothing is added to a household until someone approves it.

How it works

Three steps, start to finish.

  1. Paste the messagePaste the text into Import, or add a screenshot or PDF of it. A link to the email does not carry its text.
  2. Review beside the sourceEvents, to-dos, and shopping items are proposed in separate groups. Untick what does not belong, fix a time, and leave an unknown date unknown.
  3. Save the useful partsApproved events go to the calendar, to-dos to the house list, items to the shopping list. The rest is not saved.

One limit. DrawerPilot does not read your inbox. Each message is one paste, one review, one save. When the coach sends a change, paste that one too.

What it does.

  • Dates become events. Each practice and the game, with the field, as separate events you can tick or skip.
  • Deadlines become to-dos. Return the form by Friday, Oct 9, with the date on it and no invented time.
  • Purchases are left for you to decide. A water bottle and a ball are things to bring. A pinnie to buy is a line you decide on.

FAQ

Common questions.

Does DrawerPilot read my inbox automatically?

No. You paste or share one message at a time, and nothing is saved until you approve it.

Can one message create different kinds of records?

Yes. One paste can propose events, to-dos, and shopping items together, each reviewed on its own.

What happens when a date is missing?

The line is shown without a date and stays out of the calendar until you add one. Photo day in the example stays unresolved.

Will it follow later changes automatically?

No. Paste the follow-up message and review it the same way.
